From the Studio
Misa is a landscape architect, founder, and studio director of STUDIO EDITION. With more than two decades of professional experience, she is recognized for creating thoughtful environments that support lasting social, environmental, and cultural value through purposeful, context-driven design. Her approach values clarity over complexity, seeking elegant solutions that support everyday life and connect people more meaningfully to their surroundings. Known for a collaborative process, she works closely with clients, communities, and project teams to translate shared aspirations into places that matter. STUDIO EDITION grew from Misa's work across complex public realm projects and a curiosity about how thoughtful design can elevate the ordinary moments of everyday life.
Misa holds a BLA from Tung-Hai University in Taiwan and an MLA from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside her practice, she has taught design studios at Temple University and Thomas Jefferson University and frequently serves as a guest critic for regional design programs.
