Bartram Village is envisioned to be a safe, green, and beautiful network of streets and public spaces that connect residents to the many assets, amenities, and resources in the neighborhood. New open space amenities on the Bartram Village site will expand recreation offerings. Safety will be prioritized and enhanced through physical investments in street safety and wayfinding. These investments will create a model for other parts of the city on how to increase tree cover, combat urban heat island effect, lessen health issues like asthma, and improve air and water quality while beautifying and connecting the neighborhood.
